C might be a bit awkward in this age but it becomes fun along the way

The ide i prefer is netbeans as it is

1 lightweight (all versions 250 MB)

2 many languages support (including html and python)

1] download netbeans from https://netbeans.org/downloads/

2] choose all version

3] click on the downloaded file to install

4] after install click on file -> new project -> C/C++

5] choose an appropriate name and don’t forget to choose C

6] a sample program will be generated for you, add this line printf(“a”); in main like this :

/*
 * To change this license header, choose License Headers in Project Properties.
 * To change this template file, choose Tools | Templates
 * and open the template in the editor.
 */

/*
 * File:   main.c
 * Author: your-name
 *
 * Created on August 30, 2017, h:min AM/PM
 */

#include
#include

/*
 *
 */
int main(int argc, char** argv)
{
    printf("a");
return (EXIT_SUCCESS);
}

7] now press run

8] oh my an error occured … it tells you to complete all required fields no worry install MSYS go to http://www.mingw.org/wiki/MSYS

9] download msys, click on :

10] install the downloaded file choose default

11] check after all processes if in c:\\ you see a folder named msys

go to C:\msys\1.0\bin see if you see a file named make.exe

12] now go back to netbeans on the field with a red star navigate to C:\msys\1.0\bin and click on the make.exe file to make the path become C:\msys\1.0\bin\make.exe (or just paste that path there)

13] finish now you can run, after run you can get like

now you are all set !

Note : On C++ too the makefile will be missing and so follow the same steps
