Mystery solved. I think it is because I don’t host on wordpress.com. I have a different hosting provider (SiteGround) and I connect my blog to wordpress.com with JetPack. My posts show up in the wordpress.com search, and so does the like button, but comments are not available from there. I read that they are “working on it”, but for now the only way is to go to the site.

What did you do with python?

I like your blog: I enjoy coding and love making posts about coding a little bit like you. Some of my favourite libraries are Tkinter ones: they allow you to make GUI apps. ARJ wrote a blogpost about sending email via Python and I managed to make a Tkinter emailing app completely in Python 3 thanks to his guide.
